deanseths:

#I say this all the time: these two are going to be connected throughout their entire careers until they retire #and when that happens – one of them will probably retire the other one too #they’re going to induct each other into the Hall of Fame one day #there are those relationships in wrestling where two people just have insane chemistry and are always associated with each other #whether they’re fighting or working together #like Triple H and Shawn #these two are going to be one of those relationships when it’s all said and done #I adore this relationship more than anything else in WWE because it’s so deep and constantly on-going #their connection began the first time they met in FCW and it’s never going to end until they retire

I see it like this.

For Seth, tonight was about trying to provoke Dean into some kind of reaction. He said everything he could, every barbed word he could think of–calling him a coward, comparing him to when Seth turned, calling him a lunatic again (which almost did the trick). And the silence he got was worse to Seth, because that’s basically Dean confirming his worst fears to him.

He was hoping for an explanation. He is carrying the guilt and the pain, and Dean won’t even speak to him face to face. And the silence is worse, because it’s like Dean’s already gone.

So Seth has to chase him down and “beat it out of him,” even if he didn’t have the heart to follow through and actually go after him tonight. He will, because he can’t just…let him go. He’s not capable of letting him go.
