Really shows how thoroughly WWE values and ‘gets’ women’s empowerment, that they’re having Becky’s thing be insisting that she’s “the man” to indicate her superiority.

I know I feel empowered by the most dominant woman on the roster proclaiming that the best thing to be is “the man”, especially when she’s saying it to other women to suggest she will defeat them because of the edge she has. Which, again, is being “the man”.

It’s almost impressive, the creative ways WWE finds to be exquisitely insulting when they show us how they really feel about women.
